IN TUNE WITH GOD.. Part 2

Let's study this facts that MADE ELI A FALLEN PRIEST, FAILURE, FINISHED POORLY AND TURNED OUT.

1)  Wrong emphasis:
a)  Eli emphasised on teaching his colleagues and clients, not his family's;
b)  He addressed his sons but did nothing to correct them;
c)  He saw it and ignored it. He pretended it would go away;

2)  Wrong Expectation:
   Eli thought his sons would get it just because they live in the house of the lord or because their father is a priest;

3)  Wrong example:

a)  Eli failed to live out in his home what he taught in his workplace;
b)  He tuned God out, no wonder the boys never tuned in.

4)  Wrong entanglement:
   Eli got caught up with his profession and got blinded to his failure.


Let us also study Prophet Samuel's life style: WHAT MADE SAMUEL A PROPHET, SUCCESSFUL MAN WHO FINISHED STRONG AND TUNED IN.

1)  He surrendered himself totally to God;
2)  He was a prophet of integrity;
3) He was not doing his own -- sinful, prideful things
4) He did not entangle himself with the things of the world.

  Let us study reasons WHY ONE CANNOT HEAR FROM GOD. 

1) When you are too busy doing your own, mostly sinful, prideful things. trying to control your own life.
2) When you are busy following after some men or women and their teachings;
3) When you are really not born again, born again from the above and do not know Jesus.
4) When you refuse to read the Bible daily and do daily prayers and practice the Bible.
