MATURITY IN HIS SERVICE.. Must Read

                               MATURITY   IN   HIS   SERVICE

Bible Texts: (Hebrew 5:11-13; James 3:1& 2; 2nd  Corinthians 1:8- 10; Ezekiel 24:15- 27).

Brethren, when you go through the scripture above, you will observe that there are lot of excuses, but for the sake of the topic, MATURITY, there is no opportunity to believe in the excuses, no matter how cogent they may look.

Maturity, as I have defined earlier is achieved when a person postpones immediate pleasures for a long term value. As human beings, we all want to be happy and free from misery. We have learnt that the key to happiness is inner peace. The greatness obstacles to inner peace are disturbing emotions, such as anger, attachment and sense of universal responsibility are the sources of peace and happiness. Note, you can never have a heads. Note also that the bigger your head, the bigger your headache (Hebrew 5:11 – 13). Those who leave everything in God’s hands will eventually see God’s hand in everything they do. This is also maturity in His service. Maturity in His service has no respect in the office you occupy in the House of God. Each office in the house of God is created in the purpose of building the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:11 – 16). Whoever that may be in the pulpit must be ready to give orientation of the mindset of his congregation not to be as tyrant to them.

There is this observation that is common among the people of this age. When you tell some people,’ you don’t know how to drive`, they agree and say YES or if you say you don’t know how to speak a particular language , they also agree and say YES. If you tell them, `you don’t know how to talk; they pick offence because talk is common and cheap.          Until we accept this challenges, we also can be going wrong way.

Let me advice you with these essential facts;
1) Have good conscience/perception toward God and Man;
2) Know what to do through God when your enemies is digging pit(2nd Kings 4:1-7, Genesis 26: 14-22);
    3) When you are alone, mind your thoughts(Proverbs 23:7)

4) When you are with friends mind your thoughts;
5) When you are angry mind your temper(James 1:19-21)
6)When you are in trouble, mind your emotion (1st Corinthians 10:13, Proverbs 20-22)

7)When you are making it, mind your ego (money) (Eccles 1:12-18).

When God created man, His intention was for man to stay close to Him. That was why He establishes a relationship with man. He visited Him often.  It was the loneliness of the man that led to the creation of the woman. One day, the Lord came and was looking for the man and his wife, but they were nowhere to be found. They went and hid themselves from God.

Till today, men are still hiding from God (Genesis 3:8). This is where separation came between man and God. This fall of man gave Satan advantages over everything about man (2nd Corinthians 2:11).
